[Video runs from 1:04 to 18:17 exactly. The first segment of plot ends at 5:30, which is followed by a gameplay segment until 12:00 (not important and can be skipped). Then more plot.
Shinji will not be replying to this post.]
[Action]
[Wish granted. He'll give them magic.]
[First, a place to seed it. The closest leyline is on a mountain near Shinji's house, a pulsing beat of heat under the rock. First he'll annihilate the local surroundings - there's a mage research station or something like that on the hill, something nasty, and he allows them a moment of panic before he annihilates them with the Light of Judgement. The last few survivors, he drains of their powers with his blue magic and kicks them to death.]
[The s c r e a m i n g clears his mind. It's beautiful. There's a clarity to his next action - he can't let it die so quickly. He'll make it s u f f e r. He has all the time in the world to destroy this place.]
[Next, the leylines. Those take some time to pollute, but once it's done, it's beautiful. Anything that takes another's life in this area will start to learn magic. The bigger, the better. And not just mages - any human, any animal.]
[And, to speed up the process, he summons some small Vector dragons to help out. They're tiny and hard to kill; they should cause enough mayhem to start it out. And even if the doesn't take, they'll still cause a lot of damage.]
[Watching them leave, he smiles; or, at least, his mouth cracks open.]
...Greed. We should probably bring Shinji up here so he can enjoy the mayhem.
[Action]
The monk lives on a world like this. It'd be easy for this to happen there, too, then, wouldn't it? Without knowing a thing about magic, leylines, any of it, the subtle differences or the meaning of an electronic grail war, it's just a reminder of the fact that he's dead in some other world.
Other than a potential unknown Issei, nobody here's too important. And he doesn't know the monk here, if he exists. Shinji, if in fact an 8 year old kid, would probably be mortified by his hometown being subject to this no matter how desperate and petty he could be in his final moments. But the kid isn't important.]
Bet he'd rather not see it. Comin' back to life to see he can't have his old life'd be depressing. [Not that Greed believes he can be brought back to life, but his body should have probably disappeared, too.]
[Action]
[This is nothing. He's wiped towns off the map with a thought; he killed every adult in Mobliz with a gesture, still reeling from grief and rage from Celes's betrayal. The Light of Judgement will not be as powerful here, not with the safeguards the world has bubbling under it's skin (throb, throb, he can't throw his power around willy nilly, he has to get stronger), but it'll still cut through life like a hot knife through butter.]
This will be the crown of his mausoleum. Don't you think he'd like to see this gift to him?
[Action]
So maybe he had the wrong idea in bringing him here; the goal was to let him blow off some steam somewhere where it didn't matter. But maybe it's better sane? With some kind of planned end instead of just burning out?
That kind of depends on how effective it is at getting that goal. Which, he thinks with another sip, depends on the kid he's doing it for.]
R'torture 'n destruction 'n all that his thing? Didn't really "get" his older self enough to know how fucked up he was, either...
[Action]
[He cocks his head, staring down at the valley. Already, some of the plants are starting to perk up with the infusion of magic; they will be large and fruitful and whatever eats them will gain their magic. Suck on that, Mage Association or whoever it is that set the grail war up.]
Besides, he's dead. He can't complain. And I can't think of a better way to send him off. [How else to mourn him?] Let's go down to his house, come on. Do you want to teleport us or shall we fly?
[Action]
Still. May as well get his kicks while he's here.] Ah hell, let's fly. It ain't a private jet, but it oughtta be fun.
[Action]
[He bothered Kefka; an incompetent, power-hungry bully with no ambition has no place in the community. If he weren't born into power, he'd be dead already. Survival of the fittest, right?]
[And with that thought, Kefka bends forward and unfurls his wings; four feathered white, two leathered black, and all of them looking too big on him.]
Want me to carry you or should I give you something to ride?
[Action]
Re: [Action]
[Kefka waves his hand and summons one of his book demons. A very large book demon.]
Hop on, she's a glider.
[Action]
It's not an academic curiosity so much as a sense of "I want one. ...What exactly is it, now that I want it?"]
Re: [Action]
[Kefka flaps into the air and starts gliding into the town. The book follows; there's four different faces that could pop up where Greed is sitting, but it can navigate fine with it's faces down.]
